Emma has been my personal trainer for the last four years.  The results that I have achieved to date are largely due to Emma’s combination of diverse training methods, individualised exercise programmes and challenging yet achievable goal setting. Emma is at all times professional, knowledgeable and her enthusiasm is infectious.

How 2011 ended (fitness events for clients)!!!

Jon did a lot of events for clients throughout December which include the following...........................

1) JP’s 2011 TRI-it-ATHLON
3 whole body fitness session 24th -25th & 26th December- Valley Gardens Harrogate!

TIME to get involved in JP 'z. TRI-it-ATHLON! Festive fitness fun with a twist!

Goal is to aim to complete all 3 BUT Join in even if you can only attend 1 of the 3 sessions!
Each session will provide you with 1 hour of self paced individually prescribed dynamic group training!

Come explore whole body fitness with a urban gym focus! Seeking to utilise your body weight as the primary exercise resistance and thus delivering maximum exercise efficiency with minimal equipment!

Ohhhhh n it’s all FREE! ....My Christmas present to you ALL!

*......and if you enjoy MY applied whole body training theories and principles then give me a call in 2012 and we'll get a plan put together!

*Meeting at the SIDE entrance of the Valley Gardens -playground area- near the mini round a bout.
*Wrap up warm as the wind and rain are coming along in full forces 2day to add a bit of UK 'festive' weather! Good footwear and gloves if desired!!

Well it’s now time to step over the line 1 more time before the end of 2011 and once more at the start of 2012 to really kick start your 'new year' and possibly explore avenues of your own personal fitness which -to date- have yet to be truly explored!

You know you can always DO - More!

*Start point - mini round-a-bout; side entrance to the valley gardens - near the children’s play area
*Wrap up warm- outdoor footwear- hats gloves whatever is required to get you 'involved'! 
*FREE to all who attend and should MY applied whole body training theories and principles give you that 'kick' then give me a call in 2012 and we'll get a plan put together!
Session 2 - 01st January 1030am;

Start your new year RIGHT HERE - RI0gHT NOW-
You never win a race at the start line BUT you most certainly can lose one if you don't start right!

Start right and the rest - (if it’s your best) - will be the 'achievement' you earn!

The 'finish' comes along at some point but only if you've committed to 'starting'

AND

you cannot win a race you didn’t start nor claim a prize unless you buy a ticket to be in the draw!

So the question is a simple one;
when are you going to START your New Year?
AND
HOW?

ANSWER - TODAY! NOW 1030 am!  With a real 'kick'! JP STYLE

3) Happy New Year - 1st gift of 2012 from Jon @ PT and Therapy

So new years day is the time 4 the annual 'family' game showdown! General knowledge, Trivia, Building a property empire, catching the killer from the clues or taking over the world!

Well I’ve got a little twist on a classic! A card game with a JP Twist!

The initial idea arrived courtesy of an old university friend. Matty Row! N I've just given it the JP treatment!

'Cards' JP STYLE xx
*All Cards numbered 2-10 the number is this reps value you must complete for the following exercises *

Hearts – press-ups (or dips or pull ups)
Clubs - squats (or power squats or lunges))
Diamonds – split leg squat thrusts (or double leg squat thrusts)
Spades – Core work (isolated or functional )

Now face cards are special!
Jacks - burpees (press up - double squat thrust - power squat)
Queens - travelling press ups ( 3 press ups scramble walk forward hands n feet on floor 3 press ups scramble walk back 'backwards')
Kings - lunge walk forward 5 strides 5 star jumps lung walk back backwards!

*ace is high* and so if you pick out n ace you the pull out another card AND complete whatever it is BUT double whatever the 'number' chosen, for example 8 of clubs would actually be 16 squats !

Solo player - 3 cards repeat 3 times! Rest!

Multi player - 5 cards to all players ! 1st to complete their 5 cards WINS!

(Cards returned to bottom of pack)

Play as many 'rounds' as you like! Or can TAKE!
